Who we are

AndyTheMakerMC.xyz (“the Site”) is the official website of Andy The Maker, a Minecraft content creator. The Site is a static website: it has no user accounts, no logins, and no databases. This policy explains what limited information is processed when you visit, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Analytics (with your consent)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the Site (pages viewed, approximate region, device type). Analytics runs only if you accept cookies in the consent banner. We use Google Consent Mode v2 with all storage signals denied by default; until you accept, no analytics cookies are set and no identifiers are stored on your device. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the site footer.

Information you make public elsewhere

Community recognition sections (such as supporter walls) may display your public display name, public avatar, membership tier, and join date from platforms you choose to support, such as Patreon, Twitch, Ko-fi, or YouTube. We never display or store email addresses, payment details, billing amounts, or any private account data. To be removed from a recognition section, contact us and we will remove you in the next site update.

What we do not collect

• No account registration or login data
• No payment processing on this Site (support links go directly to Patreon, Ko-fi, or Stripe)
• No sale or sharing of personal information with data brokers

Cookies

The Site uses only the following categories:

• Strictly necessary, stored locally:your cookie consent choice and your light/dark theme preference are stored in your browser’s local storage. These never leave your device.
• Analytics (optional): Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*), set only after you accept.

Legal bases (EEA/UK visitors)

For visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, analytics processing is based on your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), collected through the consent banner before any analytics activity occurs. Displaying publicly available supporter names is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) in recognizing community members, balanced by the removal right described above.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including the EEA, UK, and California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Since the Site stores almost nothing about you, most requests can be resolved by adjusting your cookie settings or asking us to remove a displayed name. Contact us at contact@andythemakermc.xyz.

Third-party services

The Site links to and displays content from YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, Instagram, X, Discord, Patreon, Ko-fi, and Stripe. Clicking through to those platforms is governed by their own privacy policies. Video thumbnails are loaded from YouTube’s image servers (i.ytimg.com), which may receive your IP address when images load.

Children

The Site is a general-audience website about Minecraft content. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; the Site collects no personal information from anyone beyond optional, consent-gated analytics.

Data retention

Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months, the minimum GA4 setting. Your consent and theme choices remain in your browser until you clear them.

Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date above. Material changes to analytics or consent behavior will re-show the consent banner.
