The Red Clay Industrial Arc: Brickworks Blueprint

This project will create a visually striking industrial complex that houses one of the most efficient, large-scale clay farms in The Forgelands.

This project will create a visually striking industrial complex that houses one of the most efficient, large-scale clay farms in The Forgelands.

I. Core Vision: 1800s Industrial Realism

ComponentAesthetic GoalBlock Palette & Detail
The Clay Pit (Mine)Terraced strip mine; bright, exposed earth aesthetic.Light Palette: Terracotta (uncolored/red), Mud Bricks, Coarse Dirt, and Pale Green Moss/Carpet to simulate clay-stained surfaces.
The Brickworks FactoryLate 1800s brick warehouse/foundry look.Dark Palette: Red Nether Bricks, Red Terracotta, and Red Concrete for the walls. Use Blackstone, Deepslate, and Basalt for industrial trimming, pipes, and smokestacks.
AmbiancePottery scattered around, large smoke stacks, stacks of materials.Place Flower Pots (Pottery) near workbenches. Use Iron Bars for windows. Giant smokestacks built using Basalt and Blackstone (Source 2.3).
LocationMust be near a River/Ocean waterway and a surface-entrance Lush Cave for natural realism.

II. Phase 1: The Scientific Test (Crucial VOD Content)

This test is the foundation of the entire build and creates an excellent, focused VOD.

Hypothesis: Can an active Piston function as a solid block for the Dripstone conversion mechanic (Mud $\rightarrow$ Clay)

The Test Setup:

Place a layer of Dripstone Blocks below.

Place a layer of Mud above the Dripstone Blocks.

Place a layer of Pistons above the Mud.

Observe the Mud. If the Mud turns to Clay while resting on the Piston, the mega-farm design is viable.

Contingency: If the Piston test fails, you must revert to using solid, immovable blocks (like Deepslate) for the Mud layer, which would simplify the piston system but still allow for the massive 4x 9x9x9 design.

III. Phase 2: The Mega-Farm Engineering

Assuming the Piston test is successful, the farm design scales up dramatically.

The Design: A grid of 4 x 9x9 Mud patches. Each 9x9 patch sits over its own dedicated dripstone irrigation system.

The Automation Loop:

Drying Phase: Dirt is fed in and turned to Mud, which sits on the piston layer while the Dripstone converts it to Clay.

Harvest/Push Phase: Once all Mud is converted, the Pistons activate simultaneously to push the 9x9 cube of Clay up one level.

Collection: This repeats until you have 4 x 9x9x9 cubes ready to be harvested with a shovel (Source 1.5).

Water Supply: The Dirt-to-Mud conversion requires water bottles. Ensure your existing closed-loop water bottle filler (at the Savanna Villa) is replicated or expanded to keep pace with this massive farm.

IV. Phase 3: Processing, Logistics, and Lore

A. Industrial Processing Facility

The harvested clay will be moved via a Vertical Lift Station to the factory floor.

The Furnace Array: Build a massive, visible Super Smelter system designed for clay blocks (to terracotta) and clay balls (to bricks). This must be highly visible, with multiple stacks rising from the roof.

Auto-Conversion: Utilize Autocrafters (if you allow them) to automatically turn Clay Blocks into Terracotta blocks, and then feed those into the furnace for glazing, creating a seamless assembly line.

Bulk Storage: Design a massive, categorized storage system for the clay products (Bricks, Terracotta, Glazed Terracotta, Mud, Clay Balls).

B. Transportation and Golem Lore

Rail Outposts: Establish a dedicated rail line leading from the Brickworks factory to at least three external locations: The Savanna Villa (for central storage), the SGNP (for decorative needs), and a third location for future expansion.

Copper Golem Automation: Integrate Minecart with Chest/Hopper Minecarts into the factory floor. These should move visible materials (e.g., Clay Balls) between the bulk storage, the smelters, and the rail loading platform.

Lore: Stylize the loading stations with Copper Golem heads/statues, narrating the process as the Golems "move the baked bricks" to the trains.

This project creates a stunning, functional hub that will feed materials into every major decorative build across The Forgelands.
