PlannedThe Ultimate Armory and Smithy Blueprint
This facility is designed to be a secure, comprehensive hub for all gear production and customization.
This facility is designed to be a secure, comprehensive hub for all gear production and customization.
I. Placement and Aesthetics
Location: Build this as a new, heavily reinforced underground structure, potentially adjacent to or deeper than your current workshop, emphasizing security.
Aesthetics: Use a dark, reinforced palette: Reinforced Deepslate, Polished Blackstone, and Iron Blocks. Utilize Iron Bars for windows and security gates.
Theme: Industrial/Military. Clean, efficient lines, high ceilings, and extremely bright lighting (Level 15+) to prevent any hostile spawns near valuable gear.
II. The Manufacturing Core (The Foundry)
This section focuses on the heavy-lifting of material conversion and repair.
| Station | Required Tools/Storage | Function |
|---|---|---|
| Smelting Array | Dedicated Blast Furnace Array (6-9 units), fed by hoppers. | Smelts raw Iron, Gold, and Copper quickly. Must have dedicated fuel storage (charcoal/bamboo). |
| Material Storage | Bulk chest system and auto-sorters for Iron Ingots, Gold Ingots, Diamonds, Netherite Scraps, Amethyst, and Redstone. | Ensures crafting materials are immediately available without having to visit the main resource vault. |
| Processing | Crafting Tables (3-4), Stone Cutters (2), and Grindstones (2). | Converts ingots/materials to blocks, cuts iron/netherite blocks down, and removes enchantments for repair. |
| Repair Station | At least 3 Anvils (spaced apart to prevent breaking/lag) and a direct feed of Iron Blocks for easy repair. | Repairing damaged tools and applying Name Tags. |
III. The Customization and Enchantment Wing
This is the most critical section for late-game gear and aesthetics, centralizing the Armor Trim process.
A. The Armor Trim Archive
Tools: Smithing Tables (4-5) located together.
Trim Template Storage: Dedicated wall displays using Item Frames to showcase every single available Armor Trim Template (Sentry, Dune, Wild, Silence, etc.). Use chests/barrels beneath the displays to store backup copies.
Mineral Storage: Easy access storage for the trimming minerals (Diamonds, Gold, Amethyst Shards, Redstone Dust, Copper Ingots, Lapis, Emeralds, Quartz).
Netherite Upgrade: A separate, secure station for the final Netherite Upgrade process (requiring Smithing Templates and Netherite Ingots).
B. Enchantment and XP Access
Enchanting Room: A fully maxed-out setup (Level 30) using Bookshelves that can be easily retracted via pistons for lower-level enchantments.
XP Farm Access: Direct, fast, and safe railway/teleport access to your Infestation-Based XP Farm for quick repairs and enchanting.
Potion Station: A nearby Brewing Stand Array with a reliable source of Water Bottles and required ingredients (especially spider eyes and magma cream for defensive potions) for gear testing.
IV. Display, Automation, and Logistics
This section is for showcasing and functionalizing the gear.
| Feature | Implementation Detail | Function and Content |
|---|---|---|
| Armor Displays | Walls of Armor Stands displaying every possible unique combination of Armor Trim and Dye Color you have created (Source 2.3). | Showcase: Excellent VOD content demonstrating all the custom gear possible. |
| Auto-Equip Stations | A functional Redstone Dispenser System near the main exit. | Allows you to press a button and instantly receive a full set of your favorite gear (e.g., your primary Diamond/Netherite set). |
| Nether Portal Access | A dedicated, nearby Nether Portal encased in reinforced materials (Obsidian/Reinforced Deepslate). | Essential for quickly accessing Netherite structures and ancient debris for Netherite upgrades. |
| Mine Access | A dedicated vertical lift station connecting the Armory directly to a deep mine for quick mineral replenishment (this would supersede the smelting room's ore source). | Logistics: Provides a dedicated, high-speed way to bring raw ore specifically for gear, separate from the general resource supply. |
๐น Weapons and Archery Gear Addendum
The Armory's Manufacturing Core and Enchantment Wing are specifically set up to handle all weapon production and refinement.
I. Manufacturing & Crafting Stations
A dedicated crafting area must be established within the Processing Core specifically for non-armor gear:
| Component | Required Materials Storage | Manufacturing Focus |
|---|---|---|
| Basic Weapons | Sticks, Ingots (Iron/Gold), Diamonds, Netherite. | Dedicated crafting space for Swords, Axes, and Pickaxes (as combat tools). |
| Archery & Ammunition | Feathers, Sticks, Flint, String (from Mob Farm), and Glowstone Dust/Redstone Dust. | A dedicated Crafting Table for mass-producing Bows, Crossbows, and Arrows. |
| Tipped Arrows | Brewing Stand Array & Cauldrons (Bedrock) | Integration with the Potion Station: Tipped Arrows are made by dipping regular arrows into a Cauldron filled with a specific potion, which requires the Potion Array to be fully functional first. |
II. Enchantment and Display
The weapon and archery gear requires unique enchantment types and display methods:
Enchantment Priority: The Enchanting Room and XP Farm Access are critical for applying top-tier enchantments like Sharpness, Looting, Mending, Infinity, and Power/Punch.
Weapon Displays: Design a separate wall section using Item Frames to display every high-tier weapon you forge:
The "God Sword" (Sharpness V, Looting III, Mending, Unbreaking III).
The dedicated pickaxe/axe used for wood/mining.
The "Infinity Bow" and the "Multishot Crossbow."
Arrow Storage: Implement a multi-level storage system specifically for different arrow types (Normal, Spectral, and Tipped Arrows). This system should be directly accessible from the Auto-Equip Station for quick loading before heading out.
The Armory serves as a complete combat workshop, ensuring you never have to scramble for resources when preparing for the Ender Dragon, the Wither, or simple exploration runs.
๐งช The Alchemy and Potion Lab Blueprint
This facility is designed for high-volume, quick-access potion production, integrating fully with your farms and gear stations.
I. Architectural and Safety Requirements
Location: Built adjacent to the Armory's Enchantment Wing, ensuring fast access before entering the Nether Portal or XP Farm.
Aesthetics: Use a clean, sterile, slightly magical palette. Smooth Quartz, Glowstone, and Iron Bars are ideal. Use Lapis Lazuli Blocks and Emerald Blocks for decorative accents.
Safety: Since brewing requires Blaze Rods and often involves gunpowder for splash potions, the room must be secure. Use Reinforced Glass for viewing panels.
Mob Protection: Cats or Ocelots placed in the corners of the room help prevent creepers from approaching and exploding (if any spawn), protecting your delicate ingredients.
II. The Manufacturing and Automation Core
This section focuses on the repeatable, high-volume production of base potions.
| Component | Function & Bedrock Automation | Required Storage |
|---|---|---|
| Brewing Stand Array | Dedicated Bank of 6-9 Brewing Stands. These should be arranged in rows for easy manual input and output. | Nether Wart (Bulk Storage): The foundation of every potion. Must be supplied by a small, dedicated Nether Wart farm nearby. |
| Water Supply | Cauldrons and Auto-Filler: Install multiple Cauldrons (for tipped arrows) and a Redstone-powered Bottle Filler (using a dispenser/hopper loop) to ensure infinite, fast access to Water Bottles. | Glass Bottles (Bulk Storage): Must be easy to mass-produce and store. |
| Fuel Source | Blaze Rods/Powder: Requires direct, secure storage of Blaze Rods and immediate conversion into Blaze Powder (the required fuel). | Blaze Rods (from your Gold/Wither Skeleton Farm nearby). |
| Utility Stations | Cauldrons (3-4): Used for removing potion effects and creating tipped arrows (by dropping arrows into a potion-filled cauldron). |
III. The Ingredients Archive (Bulk Storage)
The true challenge of a Potion Lab is maintaining the vast, distinct set of required ingredients. Storage should be labeled clearly and easily accessible.
| Ingredient Type | Source & Usage | Storage Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Core | Sugar, Redstone Dust, Glowstone Dust, Gunpowder, Fermented Spider Eye. | Must be in bulk, ready for mass production (Redstone/Glowstone for extending/amplifying effects). |
| High-Risk/Rare | Ghast Tears, Magma Cream, Shulker Shells (from Shulker Farm). | Used for high-tier effects (Regeneration, Fire Resistance). These must be kept in the most secure chests/Shulker Boxes. |
| Combat/Specialty | Rabbit's Foot, Phantom Membrane, Turtle Shells, Blaze Powder. | Essential for mobility and utility effects (Leaping, Slow Falling). |
IV. Integration and Workflow
Tipped Arrows: The Potion Cauldrons are positioned directly next to the Archery Crafting Station so you can easily dip your arrows into the desired potions for immediate loading.
Villager Curing: The lab must maintain a ready stock of Splash Potions of Weakness and Golden Apples for curing any captured Zombie Villagers.
Pre-Combat Loading: The Potion Lab is the final stop before the Nether Portal or the XP Farm entrance. A dedicated chest or item frame display should hold the standard "Loadout Potions" (Strength, Healing II, Fire Resistance, Slow Falling).
