Survival Record
ActiveAttempt 001
The current hardcore run: one life, one world, fully documented from the first night, and still going.
Attempt 001
Attempt 001 is the current hardcore run and the founding record of this archive. One life, one world, every decision permanent. The attempt is live; this record is updated as days are survived, and its final section will be written only once, whatever it ends up saying.
The Opening
Spawn placed the attempt in a river valley between forested ridges — generous terrain by hardcore standards, which was treated as suspicious. Day one followed doctrine: wood, stone, shelter dug into the valley wall before dusk, door before dark. No bed hunt, no sprint for iron, no heroics. Hardcore rewards boredom, and the first week was kept deliberately boring.
Current Position
The valley shelter has grown into a proper base: walled, lit to the waterline, with a sealed mine entrance and a wheat farm running on river water. Iron armor is complete, a shield is on the arm at all times per standing rule, and the first diamonds came up on day 19 from a cautious branch mine — no cave diving yet, by policy.
The attempt's one serious incident, a ravine breakthrough during mining, is documented separately in the close calls category once its record clears review. The half-heart it ended on is the reason review is slow. Writing it up requires reliving it.
Standing Rules
Shield always. Food never below half. Torches on the right going in. No digging straight down, no fighting at night in the open, no "just one more" of anything after the hunger bar speaks.
Field Notes
Day count at last update: 31. The attempt continues. That sentence is the entire goal.
