About the Circle calculator
The Minecraft circle calculator turns any diameter into a pixel-perfect circle you can build block by block. Use it for round towers, silos, fountains, dome and sphere bases, clock faces, and decorative rings — switch to Fill for solid round floors and platforms.
How to use it
- Pick a shape tab — Circle, Oval, Diamond, Triangle, Pentagon, Hexagon, Octagon, or Star.
- Set the diameter (or width and height), using the − / + buttons for fine adjustments. On non-circle shapes, turn on Lock Dimensions Together to keep height equal to width.
- Choose Outline for walls and rings, or Fill for solid floors and platforms.
- Use the Scale slider to zoom, and toggle the grid, center cross, and axis numbers to help you count and stay symmetrical.
- Click blocks to paint them with the 16 Minecraft dye colours for pattern planning.
- Read the block count and stack breakdowns, then export a PNG or SVG to keep beside you as you build.

- Stretched ellipses with independent width and height — arenas, racetracks, stadiums, and elongated ponds.

- Triangle
- Upward-pointing triangles for roofs, gables, banners, spearheads, and mountain silhouettes.
- Pentagon
- Five-sided medallions, tower footprints, and badges sized precisely to your bounding box.
- Hexagon
- Flat-topped hexagons for honeycomb floors, hex-grid bases, planters, and tileable modular builds.
- Octagon
- Flat-topped eight-sided shapes for stop-sign motifs, gazebos, and rounded-but-blocky rooms.
